Very fruity and approachable, very ripe. Fruit driven. Body driven more by alcohol and tannin than acid. A very drinkable and delicious wine — 9 years ago

Floral, strawberries, blueberries, dried black fruits, oak, olive, black pepper, fragrant. Smoked meat, mocha, earthy. Full bodied, medium tannins, med+ acidity. Long finish. Wow. 6 years is indeed the ready to drink time. — 5 years ago

2006 Cavatappi Winery Nebbiolo Maddalena Red Willow Vineyard - An Italian style Nebbiolo from Washington state? Yessir... And it's tasty too. Very Italian in style. — 11 years ago
Not as big & boisterous as the 15 but still worthy of opening one early,
The first vintage released under the Central Coast AVA, as it includes fruit from Bien Nacido, Hawks Hill, and Shadow Canyon, the 2016 Syrah Akasha is as always 100% Syrah that spent 22 months in 60% new French oak.

One of my favorite Merlots for the state of Washington. 100% merlot - 3 vineyards blended. Solid wine and not overpriced. I used to by a bottle a week or so because I couldn't control my consumption of it. :) dig it! — 10 years ago
A blend I couldn't have made a preconceived notion of (37% Grenache Blanc, 37% Albariño, 26% Verdelho). All parts played beautifully & the co-ferment creates a singular wine of character & finesse, but one which delivers flavor & depth along with great White wines from the corresponding global regions. Stunning. — 10 years ago
