Rich, balanced Pinot that opened up after 3 hours of air. Cherry cola flavors dominated with just a hint of earth. I enjoyed the wine with rack of lamb but truth be told I liked the bouquet more than the wine. — 7 months ago
It’s still going strong and delicious. It’s a soft wine and not super Pinot forward now given its age. Not much of a finish but smooth as butter and a nice floral nose. With a big sip the finish is there and very pleasant. Love this but drink now. It’s precipitating serious sediment so suspect the color will fade soon. — 9 months ago

Initially quite closed showing balance but not much more than the Williams Selyem style acidity in citrus profile but on day three it opened to a really elegant wine with cherry, blood orange, and black tea while being soft and round. Deep red opaque color with intense red cherries in the nose. On entry huge flavors of Zinfandel but slightly over the top with alcohol. Huge finish marred by >15% alcohol. Lovely aromas and flavors in the mouth despite the off putting alcohol. — 7 years ago
Ruby color, purple edges, with pronounced aromas of red fruits, floral, herbs and complex spice. On the palate concentrated flavors of raspberry, ripe plum and black cherry with orange citrus, herbs, vanilla and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, rich long finish, ending with fruit, vanilla, floral, spice and oaky tones. Very Nice! Will age!

Winner of the night. Yes 14.1% but still good. Plumy nose. Tannins fully resolved. Drink!!! Up. Lime, spices, Hint blueberry, violets. Touch cherry 🍒. Quite amazing. Who would have thought. Because typically i prefer Burghs. — 4 months ago
Drinking Pinot for Thanksgiving from a vineyard 4 miles away is pretty special! Aged a few years before opening shows a little bricking at the edges with a pale red with orange hue to the color. Big nose bursts forth out of the glass with peppery notes of spiced red fruits, plum and strawberry perhaps, with a slight floral element throughout. The Medium body brings on pleasant notes of vanilla and baking spice, with slight tannin, big plum and ripe red fruits, a hint of brandy and a refined floral element to the finish. — 7 months ago

At first I found this medium bodied, slightly creamy, with prominent stone fruits, white peach and cumquat, with a prominent minerality and slight notes of cheesecake on the nose. Now it’s emerging much more dry with air, still a long, mineral driven palate, still medium bodied, but beautifully balanced and definitely a contract to many California white wines when it comes to complexity and nuance. — 9 months ago

This wine screams “cherries!” ....red and black cherry with notes of cola and hints of allspice. Opens beautifully and still has tannic backbone. Structure and good mouth feel. A beautiful Pinot. — 7 years ago
