Had the waiter decant ~45 mins yet still needed to open a bit. Perfect with filet, duck & venison — 5 years ago
Very earthy flavor, great to pair with duck. — 6 years ago
I'm a sucker for this duck — 7 years ago
Works well with shrimp and spaetzle. Nice fruit and crisp acidity to pair with a buttery dish. — 8 years ago
A baby 2015 Pinot from the Keefer Ranch. I really like this. It is less fruit intense than many CA pinots and its drinking nicely this young. I get some Syrah notes here. I opened it 2 hours before pairing it with duck. Thank you @Ehren Jordan — 8 years ago

Decanted 60-90 min. Aromatics are in a great place right now. A punch of violet is followed by black pepper and a whiff of bell pepper. Tannins are well integrated on palate...more violets, dark berry fruit, rocks. An obvious and excellent pairing with both duck and venison. Lacked a bit of length but otherwise delicious. — 6 years ago
Paired with veal, duck, pâte, and a limited palette of French words. Oh, and frites to clean up the leftover sauce. Bon appétit. — 8 years ago

Delicious CDP. Paired as well with duck as with scallops in a buerre blanc sauce. — 5 years ago
STWC. Sweet Black fruit and cassis aroma. Strong Ribena and blackcurrant ice cream on tip of tongue very bold tannins. Not subtle but I love this. Wonder if it ages? — 5 years ago
Yes, a little hint of blueberry on the finish. — 6 years ago
Very good Pinot — 7 years ago
Pretty solid Willamette Pinot. Really loved visiting and chatting with Marcus yesterday. Ripe but with nice structure and acid still, bit young and would be best a bit further down the road. Ripe cranberry, bing cherry, and raspberry, potpourri and drying rose floral notes, gravelly mineral earth, and a bit of clove and anise-y spice character. Medium (+) acid, medium (-) intensity of fine grained tannins, and medium (-) body but with great, soft texture. Versatile on the patio with an array of grilled sausage and brats. — 8 years ago
Easy drinking, fruity white. — 8 years ago
