Incredible intense cola and cherry. Great length. If you like the big RRV Pinot style this is a fantastic example of purity of fruit and insane length. — 9 years ago
Tar, whisper of cherries, Brett taint - the good kind not the pink leotard kind, still tastes vibrant. — 10 years ago
Really great Chardy! But a whisper of oak, decent malo and a great long finish. A great stand alone wine or perfect with a light dish. — 10 years ago
A tiny whisper of brett? Maybe. Maybe not. What matters here is a silky texture and an evolving and complex palate of flavors. A delicious and versatile wine. True to its place. Paired well with both pork and beef tonight. At 12.5 abv an almost dangerously easy bottle. Great to become with this producer. — 11 years ago
This was a perfect moment for this wine. My 1yr wedding anniversary, 10/06/2014. Ippolito 1996 Ripe Del Falco Riserva. Ripe tart cherry, figs and forest grace the stage and hints if cedar whisper in the background. Galioppo at its finest! — 11 years ago
Very thick, full peach — 12 years ago

Dense aroma of cherry and blackberry with a whisper of French vanilla ice cream.
Full body red. Aerate to tone down the tannins and serve on the warmer side to open up the flavors. It's too tight chilled. Decanting for an hour should work. I just poured little in my glass at a time and swirled to aerate and warm. Definitely tasted better when it's worked in the mouth to release flavors so I wouldn't recommend sipping this one. — 8 years ago
Medium ruby going garnet. Concentrated, slightly angular, chewy, full-bodied, older Tempranillo. Strawberry tart, dried fig and tobacco on a musky loam background with a whisper of smoke on the leathery finish. Very affordable real Ribera del Duero. — 9 years ago
Love whisper my angel. Perfect dry rose for salads & fish. Would recommend to anyone looking for rose that's not sweet and dry on the tongue — 9 years ago
When does a grape taste like a cherry? When it's fresh Sangiovese from Chianti. This one is cherries galore, with a pleasant whisper of funk showing up with extended air. $15 never tasted so good. — 10 years ago
edging senility but so good right now, especially after 45 minutes of air, reveals earthy delights of wet potters' clay, dried basil, cedar, graphite shavings with an unexpected whisper of dark chocolate dust all wrapped up in a palate showing spice, with a unique balsamic & toast presence that slides to a lip smacking finish. — 11 years ago

Delicate with a whisper of fresh flowers. #howtodrinkcheapwine — 8 years ago
Last whisper. Surprisingly showing a bit of red fruit. Lots of barnyard. — 9 years ago
Pleasantly tertiary with a whisper of primary cherry fruit and a touch of tannin. Menthol/peppermint and rosemary scented with a bit of pipe tobacco. Really impressed that this cold vintage still has such nicely framed fruit. — 9 years ago
Rich, whisper of sweetness. Honeyed yet a bitter note. Lovely, but probably peaking. — 10 years ago
Very good. Youthful, almost under developed. gorgeous strawberry and blackberry fruit. Very lifted. Mid palate as sexy as they come but lacking a whisper of definition compared to the two DRC Grand Ech's either side. Quibbling though..., clearly the best flight so far — 10 years ago
Feminine, tart cranberry, whisper of tannin, ultra-fresh. Lovely summer wine. — 11 years ago
Dark color that is reflected in the nose and on the palate. The aromas of dried lemon and lemon sourdough predominate, but there is also a snippet of lemon verbena and jackfruit, dried apricots, pumpkin, dried mango, dried papaya and a Flemish red beer streak! The lemon and beer notes are evocative of a brew room after cleanup, but a honey note in a spring grove plants you firmly outside. Plenty of sunshine here, and tangerines in a basket with fresh bread. Medium to heavy mouthfeel, and blood orange, grapefruit, lemon drops, grapefruit pith, limestone and a dried grass and chalky lemon pith finish that is exemplary. A writhing, evolving spectacle that boasts the intermittent Apple cider vinegar whisper without offense. Tannins abound, along with lemoncello custard. — 11 years ago
Cool berry and a whisper of earthy funk. Fine firm tannins and a bit if cocoa on the finish. Sneaky acid. Drinks at or maybe above its price point. Glad I have more. — 12 years ago
With a splash of Sparkling Apple Cider it's like a whisper of summertime. — 13 years ago

Surprisingly light colored head that sprung up like a ghost and then shot back down to a smoky whisper. Rum notes with caramel cream in the lead; spun sugar, cinnamon and clove with yogurt pretzel and honeyed tea. Spicy entry boasts sweetness but not overwhelming. Pumpkin oil, vanilla, oaky caramel, cinnamon and bitter note that suggests charred pecan, and peppercorns. This beer is good because it doesn’t stay sweet throughout and instantly congers the autumnal spirit. It doesn’t get too artificial, borrowing most of its flavors from barrel. #pumpkin #pumpkinbeer #ale #SouthernTier #imperialpumpkin #pumking #beer #seasonalbeer #oakaged #halloween #alehallows — 7 years ago
