2007 Olivier Leflaive Grand Cru. Holy moly. So much power. So balanced. It's stone fruit and whetstone mineral drive is couple excellently with a creamy texture from age and subtle oak manipulation. Like I just licked a whetstone, you can taste the earth that these vines came from. Blackberry and cocoa late on the palette. Definitely needs some time to open up, but a great wine from the moment of uncorking. Very well layered. — 12 years ago
