Great zin... High acidity, non of the strong alcohol feel... — 7 years ago
Smooth, nice aroma like the cab version. Citrus flavored. — 7 years ago
From 100% Wente clones that get max hang time, large and tiny berries packed together, pale lemon with subtle aromas of citrus and stone fruits. On the palate flavors of apple, lemon and lime flavors, crisp acidity, long finish ending with rich mineral character. Perfect now! — 2 years ago
Dark ruby color. Blend of fruit from two different vineyards. Touch of Petite Syrah is added. Beautiful aromatics and flavors of cooked ripe red and blue berries, cloves and chocolate. Lush and full but medium bodied with a very soft tannin (velvety smooth) structure. Excellent bottle! — 3 years ago
Very good. — 6 years ago
Full bodied and strong. Smells of berry, and tastes of pepper. Smooth and long lasting finish. A bit boozy when first opened. Would go well with strong foods, like fatty meats or heavy butter or rich garlic. — 7 years ago

Lots of oak. Very delicious. — 7 years ago
I’m getting citrus and fruity notes from this one. I am surprised I like this. It has a light body and is easy to drink. Yay — 2 years ago
Great sipping wine. Don’t need to have a meal to enjoy this wine. Very smooth and highly recommended. — 6 years ago
Opens up nicely with a lovely nose and reasonably long finish. Vanilla, leather, and berry essence. — 6 years ago
This yellow-gold wine rings the “old-style Cali” bell in all the right ways. A nose of apricots, mangoes and apples is helped along with the smell of buttered popcorn. Oak treats the palate as well, draping over the tropical fruit like a sunshade. The acidity is zesty, yet the mouthfeel tends toward creaminess due to the wine sitting on the lees for five months. The oak is a definite part of the wine, but the effect is softened enough so that it's a pleasure, not a pain. — 7 years ago

This is a delicious wine. It has strong fruit on the nose, like blackberries and cherries, with a bit of spice and oak. When you taste it, there’s a nice mix of jammy red and black fruits, and you can pick up some vanilla and chocolate too. The wine feels smooth with just the right amount of acidity. — a year ago
