A good solid white wine. Had what I refer to as an initial zing on the palate but after a couple of sips this subsided to more of a general tangy acidity. Flavour lingers long after a sip and generally very pleasant. Consumed with pork and Welsh cheddar sausages, herbed new potatoes and carrots and they worked okay together but found the wine more enjoyable solo than with the meal. — 7 years ago
Welsh spring Lamb and this...yeah baby 🤩🤙🏿😎 — 8 years ago
Not bad at all for a medium-full bodied red wine that pairs well with Welsh/ creamy cheddar for its price point — 8 years ago
Drinking very nicely. None of the Brett/funk of some vintages. Perfect with Welsh lamb. — 9 years ago
Welsh Pinot noir, who knew! Tastes like a decent burgundy, nice bright fruit, hint of pepper — 10 years ago
This is a fine Welsh whisky. It's smooth with a lovely sweetness that makes for a very moreish dram. Great stuff. — 11 years ago
dark ruby violet; cassis, licorice, mocha, vanilla, cedar; intense, concentrated flavors with plum, black cherry, bit of spice; full bodies, good acidity, supple tannins, 14.5% ABV; sourced from Panek, Pellet, Larkmead, and Kennedy vineyards, project of Thomas Rivers Brown and Genevieve Marie Welsh, great appellation level wine at $65 — 6 years ago

Enjoyed in the 11th in Paris with Welsh friends celebrating a Euro 2016 victory. Delicious. — 10 years ago

Another Welsh wine, this one from the north and made from Solaris. High acidity and very floral. Dry apple juice. — 7 years ago

Had for Christmas Eve. Effervescent, red berries, and a wee bit sour. — 7 years ago
Great start to our long weekend in Napa. Lindstrom is made by Celia Welsh, a superstar winemaker in Napa. A great nose of bluefruit and spice. On the palate I get really nice flavors of blueberries, dark currants, cocoa and baking spices. The tannins are ultra-sleek and very nicely integrated with the acidity. This wine is very drinkable today but most likely ages for another decade. Paired nicely with our Porterhouses. — 8 years ago
2008 M. Étain Cabernet Sauvignon from the Cohn Ranch in Rutherford, Napa Valley. Second label from Scarecrow. Inaugural vintage. Made by Celia Welsh. 15% alcohol. Literally translated, “Monsieur Tin.” The Tin Man to go along with Scarecrow. Still waiting for The Cowardly Lion. Maybe a nice Chardonnay? Gorgeous dark garnet color. Aromatic nose of espresso and cocoa. Some nutmeg and baking spices as well. Just beautiful. Killer palate of sweet dark chocolate-covered cherries and black plums. Nuances of cedar, vanilla and that mocha that I love. Silky tannins round out a pleasurable experience. Lush and velvety texture. Lingering finish. MUCH better than I remember this wine which was opened closer to release. 10 years has been a godsend. As many of you know, I don’t drink much Cabernet, even though I love it. But when I do, I’m reminded of how much I truly love the grape. — 8 years ago
Outstanding! Thank you, Dawn Welsh. — 10 years ago
2007 was amazingly smooth and deep. Paired it with three cow cheeses and one goat: French, Welsh, Swiss, and USA ( California) respectively. Highly recommend! — 10 years ago
2010. Proof (as if proof were needed) that English & Welsh Traditional Method Sparkling wine is the real deal. Ridgeview are the benchmark for quality and one of the real pioneers celebrating 20 years this year. Fantastic. — 11 years ago

Brought this gin back from Aberystwyth, the town on the Welsh coast where Prince Charles studied the language before becoming the Prince of Wales. This one is spicy and piney. Reminds me of a Welsh version of St. George's Terroir Gin. Enjoying it over a bit of ice. — 6 years ago
