It’s amazing how diverse and delicious Gruner can be. This is a much bigger richer wine than most of the classic producers I’ve had recently. It starts with an expressive nose of peach and pear then red apple and chamomile. Very full bodied, oily and fat. Flavors of coriander, pear, and almond. Almost like a Belgian white ale. So delicious I’m really taken back. Went and bought another the next day to keep around for a few years. — 6 years ago
— 8 years ago

Ripe nose with apricot and red apple fruit supported by lovely mineral spice. Focused palate with stone fruit and saline minerality. Fun and showing nice maturity. — 8 years ago

Floral, lemon candy and orange sherbet driven aromas are rich and pronounced. Mesium bodied with honeysuckle, orange blossom and savory fkavors are intense and rioe yet bacjed with fierce saline acidity and smoky flint. Powerful long and focused finshed. — 6 years ago

It’s Trockenbeerenauslese, you say? Yes, I said that. This nectar is of magic! Candied peaches, tangy homemade orange marmalade, velvety ripe apricots and warm honey combine and dance across the pallet as you sip this amazing Austrian dessert wine. It’s truly beautiful. — 3 years ago
