Opaque red w slight orange rim. Iron, earth, funk, dried herb, black cherry, rose. On palate red apple peel, more metal/funk; good acid, mild tannin, slightly bitter. Mourvèdre dominant. — 10 years ago

1999 Gianfranco Soldera Riserva Brunello. Lunch at T w Roger S and BP. Drank alongside the '99 Insignia. Decanted this wine ~30 min. We think this was an off bottle. Thin, high acid, no finish. Too bad. — 9 years ago
Drinking this w/ Kirky and trip... Two of the best ever. "This is the nectar of the Gods!" — 10 years ago
you better have port wine on your screen, and graham's is a big player, big in quality, though, as well!
never say "industrial" here.
qd malvedos is a sub vinery and allowed to make it's own vintage ports in years graham's doesn't declare.
this is a catch, really, if you are lucky enough to get it! — 10 years ago
This wine is robust with moderate to high tannins, which I love. But what I love even more is that it is still very smooth. — 11 years ago
Splendid, super easy pour. Very neutral white. — 7 years ago
1993 Domaine Georges de Vogue Chambolle Musigny. Fam dinner w IK at Carl Gar. Poured out of the bottle. No decanting. Perfect. — 8 years ago
The 09 with our 4th course, Cheese w/ Fruits & Nuts.
The 09 is so soft & easier to drink young but, I won’t open mine for another 10 years. Loads of dark cassis. Ripe; blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries & blue fruit hues. Leathery, dark chocolate, dry stones, crushed limestone, cedar, dark but lighter graphite, medium spice, clove, dry herbs, dark dry soil, dry stems, scorched earth and withering dark florals. The structure, tension, length are there screaming to be magnificent. The well balanced finish is very good now but all I can think about is it in another 15 years plus. — 8 years ago
