Eltviller Sonnenberg 2004 Erstes Gewächs Magnum — 10 years ago
A real find tasted just a few miles from its Dolomites home. Unusually rich for a Wießburgunder but still textured and with lovely freshness. A real find! — 10 years ago
Dautel's whites are terrific. But this red is right up there with the best of them. — 11 years ago
Fruity but not overly sweet. Pleasant and refreshing with or without food. — 11 years ago

甘さが貴腐ワインやアイスワインに近い!甘さはしっかりしてるけど、しつこい感じじゃないから呑みやすい!ワインが苦手な人とかパーティーとかにオススメかも:) — 12 years ago

"Sunny mountain." From the lower Ahr with a high proportion of loess giving an easygoing charm. The barrique really stands out against the slender frame of the wine, giving lots of cedar and spice. Hopefully that will integrate better with time. — 8 years ago
