I like the stems in this but don't know if others would. It's got Sass indeed. Kermit tasting. — 8 years ago
I would not have guessed this was Italian. But if you are wanting an off dry white it's delicious. #BranchingOutfromReds — 9 years ago
Mandarins, white flower blossom, asian teas, great acidity. I have to think but this is probably the best of this varietal i've had. — 9 years ago
Perfectly balanced. One of the best Rieslings I have tried. — 9 years ago
I selected this for the wine-by-the-glass list at Café Mogador in October 2013. — 12 years ago
Tonight I have opened the 2016 Viña Errázuriz Max Reserva Carmenère. Made up of 85% Carmenère, 11% Syrah and 4% Petit Verdot.
On the nose is raspberry, cherry, green bell pepper, chocolate, spice, herbaceous notes, vanilla and earth.
On the palate are notes of raspberry, cherry, plum, green bell pepper, chocolate, herbs, spice, vanilla and earth.
The wine is medium to full bodied with medium to + acidity and medium to + sandy tannins that leads to a medium to long drying fruit finish. A very enjoyable, drink now or store for enjoying later wine. Have a great rest of your weekend and may your week ahead be a good one. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 6 years ago
Bracing acidity. Sweet but not. Nothing else quite like it. All I have to say. — 7 years ago
Ok, so now we're experiencing a second, top-tier bottle, from a "Gang of Four" producer...yet to have the Lapierre or Thévenet bottles.
Gamay how I love you so much. Beautiful dried flower and cherry nose, lightly sweet and the finish has wicked length. This was amazing, shared with good friends and a good meal of patiently roasted beef tenderloin. I can't wait to see how this develops in a few years, it needs some time to gain concentration. It will go into hiding in the cellar with the 3.14 bottles and hope they learn something from each other.

This was the last wine of the day it came after Burgundy, Bordeaux , Syrah, Cab franc , Eiswein, Auslese and somehow this erased them from my palate memory. In this case Muller was not a winemaker but a magician. He managed to make every attribute contained in this wine stand up and shout but never allowed a single component to hog the spotlight. If I got rid of all my wine except this would I be unhappy?, honestly I have to think about it. — 9 years ago
Wonderful!! Drank with dinner of Australian potato bake, but I feel like it would pair with most meals pretty readily. Smooth finish. And it's organic! Exceeded expectations by far! — 10 years ago

Very good with a veggie-heavy meal. Lots of fruit; I personally prefer slightly less honey and more earthiness than I got, but make no mistakes — this wine was delicious — 7 years ago
Vintage 2017 / Man, I am so proud this wine is Dutch. I retasted Apostelhoeve next to Bordeaux blanc and Alsace. And it still stands. Light-footed but with a great backbone. Blend of several grapes. #apostelhoeve — 7 years ago
This is delicious. Dry but still fruity and gloriously fizzy. I bought it for the stripes and I was not disappointed. — 7 years ago
Ofcourse way too young, needs probably another 5 years in the cellar but I absolutely enjoy this youthfulness aswell with already great balance of sweetness and acidity with loads of fresh stone fruit and citrus flavours and a lot of floral notes. Already shows nice complexity and the finish is loooooong — 8 years ago
Heres the funk I am looking for! Wet wool hits you in the face, while underripe green pear, beeswax, jalapeño skin, and crushed macadamia and bitter almond add a lovely nutty element. Richer mouthfeel with m+ body for a Sancerre, it's palate coating and gives off great texture. The acidity is not the typical punch that I'm used to but it finishes elegant and well rounded. Not your typical Sancerre but really lovely none the less. — 9 years ago
Love M-C but I usually go with their dry wines. This was smooth and brought some elegant elements; just a tad short unfortunately. Incredibly interesting nose though. Need to try this again: cork was drenched. — 10 years ago
Has evolved into very unctuous ripe, even baked, pineapple and creamy coconut, a little papaya and mango. Still maintains a slatey note but is much more to the mature tropical fruit qualities than I remember from tasting the wine when it was younger. Delicious! — 11 years ago
