A fun little complex Pinot that waits until the back end to kick in with some bright acidity and wonderful berries. The finish is actually long and starts to introduce other fun flavors (tobacco maybe). Will drink again. — 9 years ago
An oldie but a goody. Dark cranberry, warm spice and mineral notes, still holding great acidity. — 9 years ago

This is a powerful deep Pinot that somehow reminds me of Oregon, even though it's from the Anderson Valley.
Decanted for 45 minutes and served slightly chilled.
Sour candied cherry, vanilla, spice and some earth on the mouth which is quickly followed by strawberry, sage and pepper. — 8 years ago

2009 Waits-Mast Pinot Noir, Amber Ridge Vineyard, Russian River Valley: 90 points. “Classic coastal California Pinot, dry, silky and complex. So easy to like, gliding across the palate with raspberry, cherry, Canadian bacon and smoky sandalwood flavors that are filled with umami richness. Best over the next four years.” — 12 years ago
Nice aroma easy to drink definitely a mast tray! — 8 years ago
07' Marcassin. I'm reading some of these reviews? This wine was just released 4 years ago. I know Helen waits to release her wines. You have to decant this wine! Would you decant a young great Burgundy wine? The rough edges dissipate immensely...becomes this giant luscious fruit bomb. Just my opinion.
Dripping with deep red cherry, ripened plum, intensely floral notes upon decanting. 30 + finish. — 8 years ago
Small production(10 Barrels) and truly special bottle. — 9 years ago

Me and Ties crack a bottle as Jen waits on Baby Boy... Ties agrees that this Zin is better than Jen's Pictocin drip... Bought a case from last week's Zin Fest run by the "Bacon Guy." — 10 years ago
