Blackberry and meaty aroma. Blackberry fruit flavors initially gives way to a lot of mushroom and barnyard flavors. Medium-bodied, with a strong backbone that provides a mouth-puckering finish. Thinner than the '12, with more funk, less meat. Different; no less enjoyable. One of the best values, if not one of the best overall wines, out there for under $20. Keeping the Loire train rolling. Underripe tropical, lemon/lime peel, red apple, ginger, and a big dose of chalky minerality. So much depth, so fresh, and such a good value — 10 years ago
Light, easy to drink. Could just have an entire bottle myself while writing or having a cigar. — 10 years ago
After weeks of landscaping, Spring cleaning and house guests for the last three weekends, Sofia and I finally have a weekend to kick it in the backyard. Watch the games, BBQ & sip some wine. Further, Sofia is back on the BSR train. Ahhhh...couldn’t be happier if I were twins. My go to N/V Rosé Champagne. Love it.
The pink rose petals are incredible. The acidity spot on. Lean fruits of; strawberries, cherries, tangerine, watermelon near the rhine, some yeast, baguette crust, sea spray, soft chalkiness with an edge, touch of gritty minerals, sea spray and a beautiful rich finish. From 375ml. — 8 years ago

My fav! Jerry O's vino. So good. Great price point at $24. — 10 years ago
This is a knife hit of an underripe apricot, smelling almost of good? mildew and plum fingernails in starfruit, white plum, and lemon-pig laundry sheets. Pretty sure I sold this in the late nineties, bulk. Lemony-apricot dries up your palate into pure Cotts canyon, borderline sweet onion in lemongrass oil with light basil. Grow some neck muscles, train with PEDs and dive into this empty pool. Yer da man! — 10 years ago
Picked up this bad boy for 16CHF at a train stop in Visp, not my favorite of this royal variety, but it had nice black fruits along with leather and a hint of a repaved asphalt road on a hot summer day, definitely could have used some time in crystal - our hosts had none. #qprking — 10 years ago

Enjoyed the ‘13 so much last night, figured the ‘11 would be a perfect bottle to open on the train to Paris! — 7 years ago
