A semi-sweet Washington Riesling. Peach and stone fruit on the nose. Very fruit forward and tingly on the tongue. Well balanced between dry and sweet with bursts of peaches, pear, apples, mineral and a subtle hint of orange peel. Probably one of my favorite Rieslings I've had so far. — 11 years ago

1985 Sassicaia. Second red wine at Redd Wood lunch w A, S, and K. This wine was perfect. Epic. We could not believe how perfect this wine was drinking. Thoroughly enjoyed it- it was enjoyable the way truffles are- hard to describe, but pleasing to all relevant senses. — 10 years ago

Not reconditioned and fully mature, this is has a delicate beauty right now. A little fragile, but mostly pure Cab Franc on the nose w/ a very nice silken texture. There's plenty of tannin, but the fruit is running out so drink up! — 11 years ago
