Acqua vitae. So herbal and powerful. Perfect for an aperitif and for an after. — 7 years ago
This barrel fermented Chardonnay of 2015 vintage is one of my favourite white wines. A clear wine, with yellow and lemon colours, this wine has a light body and medium to dry sweetness. Made from grapes grown at Motewadi, Akluj, Maharashtra, India, this wine has tangerine and citrus flavours with a hint of herbivorous. It's lingering finish ensures that you savour this wine on your palate long after you have tasted it. Loved the wine!
This wine will go well with grilled fish and sautéed paneer. Over a leisurely meal, this will also pair with Vegetarian or Chicken Biryani. — 8 years ago
Middle brow curriculum vitae. Interesting, but disjointed. I felt I could taste wine, blueberries and a saison, but not very integrated. — 9 years ago
Super Tuscan. Currant, dried cherry, mild oak, balanced tannin. Good body. Pairs well with red meat. Smooth rich finish. — 9 years ago
Great vintage, 2010, as everybody knows. Just find some. If you buy a case and don't like it then you don't like Italian wine. Enjoy. — 9 years ago
Really amazing. We visited this winery. We sent wine home and have now reordered. — 10 years ago
Good full body — 6 years ago
Lovely burg (bartender smelled pears) but again on the surprisingly lighter side esp given age...didn’t stand up well to an unaged Gouda....realized afterward should have ordered the ‘15

— 9 years ago

This app and its own "experts" don't know the difference between acquavite and brandy. Nice. — 10 years ago

K&L notes,
Claimed to be the world's oldest distilled drink - Poitín is the father of Irish whiskey (AKA - moonshine as we'd call it in the USA). First made by Irish monks in the 6th century in monastaries like Glendalough it was known as Uisce beatha or aqua vitae in Latin - the water of life. Today Glendalough's Poitín is triple distilled in a traditional copper pot-still using malted barley and pure spring water. It has a slightly floral nose with pretty and heady fruit tones. The taste is shockingly smooth and mellow given the 55%. Again a surprisingly fruity essence. The finish is long and lingering, a touch warming and sweet with a spicy tail — 5 years ago
