Very dark fruits, medium to heavy bodied. cherries, dark plums, blueberry, black currants, espresso, and hints of dark chocolate followed by medium peppery notes and mild peppercorn. Mild chewiness and leather. It is excellently balanced, and a very elegant wine. Decanted for 40 minutes and enjoyed over several hours, as it continued to evolve. — 5 years ago

2011 Buena Vista Carneros Pinot Noir. U: Transparent tegelröd D: Fat, tobak. Jordgubb. Vanilj. Väldigt tydlig. Mkt god doft. S: Tuttifrutti, jordgubb. Fatig. Rikligt med syra som får saliven att flöda. Ändå inte alls störande, frukten bär upp ypperligt. Avslutas snyggt och stort med en mjuk smörkola/vaniljtouch. Detta var riktigt bra.
