Taunt tannins and a blaze of acid paint a delicious picture of balance! Dried strawberrish and cherries quietly play bass, while underbrush and black currant play a bigger role. It's a lot of substance for a wine sold under $20. Needs an hour or more of decant, a low grade diamond in the rough! — 12 years ago
Great for cured meats! — 12 years ago
Fantastic classic. In a really nice place where the lushness of the fruit is in line with good taunt acid — 12 years ago
Inama is making some seriously Delish Soave. Fuller bodied, perfumed tree fruit and great taunt acidity — 12 years ago
Pinot noir 2010-smooth finish -Maison Virginie-French — 14 years ago
Dry, lean and rustic dark fruits, plum skins, blueberry, painted over taunt tannins. In the glass, pie sporting a crimson bowl. Loads of under brush and wild licorice. It's so good to a Shiraz showing some restraint, nicely done!

Dark rich black fruit nose. Vanilla. Nicely lean taunt and herbaceous. Powerful tannins that really say hello on finish. $25 — 12 years ago

Drinking this and remembering my friend Sean, with gratitude. An excellent Barbaresco on a Sunday afternoon lunch with my friends Virginie and Olivier. Violets, licorice, incense and leather. Velvety tannins. Goes great with ahi tuna. — 12 years ago
