This was staff pick at Bacon's in Hudson. Dry, in a good way. Very good. — 8 years ago
Not because of content, but because of circumstance... the best prosecco I've ever had. #anthonyslaststand — 8 years ago
Gravel and lemon rind on the nose. Honey, green apple, green pear, mineral, lemon, and grapefruit on the palate. Slight citrus rind/seed astringency. A good bit of alcohol for a white. There's something kind of herbal/vegetal to it, but I can't put my finger on it. Good, medium-long finish. — 9 years ago
This is our house white and we love it with almost anything. — 9 years ago
Something different! Olive, petrol, and red fruit on the nose. The palate is bright with mulberry, tart wild blackberry, and cranberry. Notes of kalamata and green olives are mixed in along with savory herbs. There is a funky, earthiness in the background. Finishes with refreshing acidity and some rosemary. — 10 years ago
Decanted for two hours and then left in bottle for about 8 more hours and it still kept developing in the glass. Earthiness came through but wasn't harmonious at first but as the night progressed it became nicer and nicer. Maybe it should be opened up the night before to really see it at its true form. — 11 years ago

Powerful, medium bodied Barolo, with lots of texture, exquisite notes of spice, dark fruit, and lively acidity. Delightful with pork loin, making for a memorable winter evening. — 8 years ago

Sweet but good for one drink! — 12 years ago
Bright and floral with peach, overripe pear, crushed flowers, lemon, and an herbal/mossy undertone. Medium acid, 13.5% alcohol, medium finish with some light mineral notes, sea salt and lemon curd. Yum. — 7 years ago
Old school rustic Italian, quite dark fruited, salty. Medium body. Very tannic on the back end, very structured wine. Substantial acid. Needs a couple hours of air to come together and show properly. Pair with 🍝 for a pretty pretty good time. // turns into something special on day 2 — 7 years ago
Perf for our dins at mays fish camp! — 9 years ago
Just a little different but still familiar. Easy to drink. Paired nicely with pizza.

Told the oenophobe boyfriend to grab a bottle of Primitivo. Not wanting to disappoint the oenophile girlfriend, he came home with this and I could tell from the second I opened it, it would have a beautiful spice and finish. Boy did it. Yum yum yum. We had it with a honey-glaze roast chicken and it was utterly seductive! — 9 years ago
Terrific wine, floral, sweet, full bodied and well rounded. Perfect for steak. — 10 years ago

Sciascinoso and Aglianico blend, which are varietals native to Campania. Intense ruby with cherry and floral notes. Great example from one of the best and creative wine lists in Toronto or anywhere, hands down. 91+
