Visited the winery and brought this bottle home. Lots of bold fruit here, almost candied. Not as much cocoa, tobacco, etc as described (and as I remember from the winery) but still a solid wine. I think the sensual silky tannins are there though. Excited for the rest of my Sauska bottles from Hungary and wish they were easier to find in NY. — 9 years ago

Very dark in the glass. Moderate aromas of plums and cedar. On the palate powerful dark fruit flavors with smooth tannins that still need to be resolved . Certainly can be held for future drinking given the underlying acid.
