Quite impressive CDP, a bit young, but gave up pretty quickly. Nice treat in the middle of Beijing. — 8 years ago
Still holding up very well. Not a knockout but laid back and elegant. — 8 years ago
Acidic. Dry finish. Minerally. Pairs well with food. — 9 years ago

Montrachet is still the best white on the planet, but is it worth the price difference from some really good Burgundy or Bordeaux options? This is great juice and not too pricey for a true Montrachet. — 6 years ago

A glass to end the night (maybe). Anxious to let this sit. Light, mineral, getting some herbs. Great so far ! — 8 years ago
Velvety and smooth, red berries and strong currants — 10 years ago
Not sure if it's the wine or the lobster... — 11 years ago
Tennis ball scent, pepper start. Final prune taste, spicy notes and oak finish. Medium to full body. Great wine!!! — 11 years ago
$45 bottle; was much lighter than other CdP, more like a Pinot. — 6 years ago
Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 6 years ago
Color is a peachy blush, like Cover Girl from the 90s. Very slight orange tint. I’m drinking this a day old, so fragrance isn’t so pungent: smells like outdoor seating at a white tablecloth restaurant with white flowers, with an elegant woman sitting two seats behind you wearing Crepe de Chine or Amal Goutal— something classic. Also has an undercurrent of Lemonheads (chemical citrus) smell as well. Taste is surprising, not acidic but still dry/not sweet— caramel-like, with peachy strawberry taste and a short finish. Kind of has the taste of a merlot inhabiting a rose. It’s really nice. I often don’t like rose because it’s too sweet or too dry or always somehow tastes too similar... but this one was special. Perhaps one of my faves of the summer. — 7 years ago
Great with seafood! Dry. Mineraly. Great to sip with dinner. — 8 years ago
Lovely rose for the $10 price tag! — 9 years ago
Hugely aromatic. Pepper and spice with a hint of vegetal. Great palate presence. $12.99 btg B — 9 years ago
Old reliable. Always one of my favorite Rhones. Heavyish-medium body, heavy fruit, medium tannin, great food complement, mouthy. Even drinks well alone & is friendly enough not to overpower cheese or light hors d'oeuvre. — 10 years ago
Lovely flavour and nice bite — 10 years ago
First of 2. Love 05 in Pommard. This was a CSW DI and is as delicious as I remember. Finally a bit more open giving dense Pommard fruit and the structure of the 05 vintage. Dense, juicy and mineral. Can't wait till it opens up. — 11 years ago
Juicy, a bit chilled and opened marvelously with a few hours. Paired with Sondheim's "Company." Awesome night with my brother. — 12 years ago
