Gaso is the family vineyard high on the hills of Marano di Valpolicella. Very attractive nose of resin, butterscotch, prune, ripe plum, and cherry. Unusually bright and vibrant palate. Authoritative yet silky tannins. I think I paid $35 for this small production Amarone. A steal. — 8 years ago
Oh,yes, this one is a keeper. First, a nose full of Fall leaves from a huge pile you just dove into. It's rustic, light bodied and full of fine flavors and silky tannins. Red plums and currant lead off the palate, flowed along by a warm and long finish. Pairs well with slow-cooked beef dishes featuring Mediterranean flavors. — 10 years ago
A bit on the pricey side for Rossese, but really good. — 10 years ago

A bit jammy, a bit too much like a California Zin. But super palatable, and not so heavy. — 11 years ago
Always a pleasure. Candied watermelon and just underripe strawberries in a quaffable package — 11 years ago
For a $20 Nebbiolo, I say hells YES — 11 years ago
WS rated this the #1 Pinot under $10. Cost Plus World Market. This is a must have! — 12 years ago
Dry and unusual moscato. Fresh florals lead on impact and a bone dry finish leaves the palate refreshed. — 8 years ago
Pure beauty and grace. Floral Gamay-like aromatics with damp roses, smoke, red currant, strawberry, tar and wet rocks. The expressiveness of Foradori’s wines is off-the-charts. There is such finesse and aromatic complexity, invigorating acidity on the attack and a gently firm grip on the mid palate. Elegance in spades. I love Foradori! — 8 years ago
So different. White grapefruit peel, saline and mineral. — 10 years ago
Dry and clean, perfect for a hot day. Unripe peaches and peach stone, lemon zest. Pure and fresh. — 10 years ago
Not very acidic with an aftertaste that is just shy of sweet. A very easy white to drink as an aperitif that will definitely make it to my summer cellar. — 10 years ago
A volcano of flavours at the back of the mouth... Eat it with roast ham- taste heaven. — 12 years ago

like a Barolo, aged very well after 11y, Nose very attractive and attack and mid palate very firm and full — 7 years ago
Yum, red forest fruits, spice, tea, nice tannins and a long finish, but I don’t think it has reached the 2010 levels — 9 years ago

Had in Kentucky with Carolyn. Floral and sweet but clean like a German Riesling but not as sweet. Very good. Even Carolyn agrees. — 10 years ago
Crisp and quite enjoyable on a warm summer evening. — 11 years ago
Such a rich flavor. — 11 years ago
Dry, in a good way! — 12 years ago
