Very nice subtle flavour; Sauvignon in the beginning with a slight chardonnay after taste. Easy drinking for the Sauvignon lover. — 8 years ago

For $8, this is a great Pinot Noir! Lightly floral with a hint of spice. Nice. — 10 years ago
Yep. Spot on. In the shadows of Mont Ventoux sips the thirsty mouth on a bottle of rosé. That’s it, I’m retiring in this lounge chair. — 6 years ago

A 50/50 blend of Marsanne and Viognier, the enchanting Clos Bellane Côtes du Rhône Villages Blanc hails from a higher altitude site, with vineyard blocks set on 410" plateau opposite Mont Ventoux. Sunbeam yellow with lemon drop and d'Anjou pear leading into more diffuse aromas of dried laurel and slate. The attack is round and almost tender—anchored by a single vein of acidity—a center of gravity weighted in crushed stones and white pepper. Nice intensity and an even better finish 13.5% ABV | Sample — 8 years ago
I love a tasty $10. This is definitely one. As usual there's value in the Rhone. Went wonderfully with my veggie southwestern hash, which is no surprise, since most Rhones hold up to hearty meals. Good fruit, nice body, a little spicy, not overly complex. — 9 years ago

In France (Provence Hautes Aples). Climbed Mont Ventoux on the bike today. Opened an amazing bottle this evening. Everything perfect about the bottle. Deep dark hue. Black fruit. Licorice. Legs. Beautifully integrated. Yes I could have let this age longer, but it was perfect for today. — 6 years ago
