Lovely Aussi expression of this grape. Lively flavors and smooth in it’s transitions particularly for a wine so young. Closer to a Ghemme than a Barola. Earthy, Raspberry, rose petal, dried fruit, hazelnut. Very approachable young as it is not overly tannic or acidic. — 9 months ago
It’s been a while between Curly pinots. Always a joy to open one, with fond memories attached along with the pleasure of the wine itself. Despite five years from vintage, this is still young and stern but elegant. Clear lines and structure, a spicy, cedary top note amongst red fruit and firm but soft tannins. Clean, I’d call it, plus whole bunch characters. Quality pinot undoubtedly, that should improve even more. — 2 years ago
Sour red cherries, wild strawberry, horse shit, mushrooms. Wild acidity. Years ahead of it. Fresh. Vital. — 7 years ago
Perfect drop for open that bottle night! The fruit still vibrant and this wine has years in it yet! Superb — 8 years ago

Biodynamic single-vineyard wine. Estate grown Shiraz with a touch of Viognier.
Its smokiness surrounds aromas of anise and cedary oak with blackberries. It's meaty with a hint of animality, cinnamon and bacon strip. — 10 years ago
Good for a Pinot — 12 years ago
Lighter than I expected but not disappointed with layers of exotic spice and fruit. Very reminiscent of an aged Cote Rotie. — 9 months ago
Not as tannic as some. Cool@climate Shiraz at its best. — 10 months ago
Sweet and refreshing. Good w fish or summer — 4 years ago
2nd go round on this guy. A light garnet in color. Very subtle nose. A lighter style Pinot that was very complimentary to our salmon. More of a delightful experience the second time around. — 5 years ago
Light fruity juicy AF — 6 years ago
Elegant oaky scent, light body, semi-structured, silky tanning. 2013 vintage. — 8 years ago
Very nice. Light, fun, and fruity. A great Shiraz for the price. — 8 years ago
One of the best Australian wines and from a lesser know region (Gelong) — 10 years ago
Truly, a Syrah not Shiraz from Australia. Pretty, restrained- not overly floral or jammy. Only outdone by Gary's Healesville Syrah- which is a feminine beast. — 11 years ago
A good weekend wine… — 9 months ago
Delicious and smooth - very easy to drink on day 1 and 2 — 9 months ago
Don’t know how this one escaped my attention for so long, but I get why it’s so well loved. Ridiculous QPR. At the risk of both revealing my ignorance and offending everyone, I reckon this is the drink Stanley Dry White cask (a seminal drop in my existence, and fellow Australian cheapo icon) aspires to be. Whistle-clean citrusy drinker with intensity right round the edges. Cellaring a few of these from now on. — 4 years ago
One of my favorites — 5 years ago
Licorice, wintergreen - fascinating! — 7 years ago
Apple from the white and berry from the red. Tastes like an impossibly sweet shiraz. — 8 years ago
Best Australian Shiraz — 10 years ago
A Michel chapoutier wine imported direct by country vintners. A cool climate Syrah from Australia. — 11 years ago
