Wow., everyone at our table was absolutely blown away at the sophistication and crafted brute force of this wine. We hands down thought our next wine was going to be the WOTN but this actually edged the 3rd. You won't believe what it beat!! This was everything we expected it to be. Dark fruit with a long seductive finish and left you wanting just one more sip every time it was done. We just kept begging for more.....good thing I had a Magnum of this! I've said this a million times already but I'll say it one more time: 11 was not that bad if a year. Time has a way of smoothing out rough edges & Great winemakers always find a way to succeed in less than ideal years. Man., am J glad I didn't back off from my purchases in 2011!!! This is quite good, mature, and Alicia would hate it :) Massive green pepper, hint of mint, pepper, mild tobacco...interestingly get lots of sour apple and/or watermelon sweet/sour jolly rancher on the palate, along with those green peppers, and smooth, sweet tannins...buy it if you see it. — 10 years ago

2006 Buccella is maturing beautifully. Notes of black cherry and blackberry coupled with hints of cocoa and graphite fill the glass. It has a medium to full bodied finish.
