Sweet, elegant. This wine has immediate sweetness, round light oak, vanilla, melons, banana. — 10 years ago
Lenz 2009 Gewürztraminer is a terrific wine. Lychee on the nose, spicy palate, finishes dead dry. Great American Gewurz, bravo to the Lenz team on the North Fork for producing an Alsatian quality, food friendly wine. — 10 years ago

1997 vintage. 65%merlot 30%cab Sauvignon %cabernet franc green bell pepper and strawberry on nose. Decent dose of Brett. Worked nicely w the caramel and bright red cherry and berry on the finish — 10 years ago
Big nose filled with buttery oak and hints of vanilla. Oaky, but extremely bright on the palate. Vibrant acidity leads to a rich creamy body with flavors of peach, white flowers and stony minerality. The finish is crisp and bright but short. — 10 years ago
Really good. Tasted better a hour after opening. Need to stock up — 11 years ago

Classic lychee, viscous, mouth coating, and a nice touch of terroir and a hint of salt make it crowd pleaser. Could drink this daily. — 11 years ago
Teeny bubbles! Nutty, not yeasty. This may be redundant but drink it quickly once it hits your glass! Your bubbles escape quickly. — 11 years ago
A little bit sour taste. — 12 years ago
