Meaty but a touch astringent on the finish. Opening up a bit and rounding out through the night. — 10 years ago
Well. It's really well crafted, you definitely feel that the Guigal's have a magic touch. Although a grand wine, it is really not my kind of Condrieu. I am more a George Vernay fan and this Doriane is way too massive, too muscular and intense. Literally, I had the impression of eating a tarte Tatin or a baked apple with cinnamon.
Again, I can understand some rave about it but I personally will not buy it again. — 11 years ago
Really, really nice! Fresh and easygoing. Had a limey, Vernay-ish character. Good value. — 11 years ago
The winemaker use to work with Georges Vernay - so you know this Viognier is going to be good - and it is. — 11 years ago
Weird, but first thought was pager code, 143. — 11 years ago

Wow, similar to a Vernay. A little less in price, and a touch muted on the nose (in comparison), but just awesome! — 11 years ago
Aged as so gracefully, you'd have a hard time guessing its age. — 11 years ago
