I made spicy stir fry chicken accompanied by wasabi green peas. The pairing: 2014 Horton Vineyards Viognier (5% Petit Mansang), a match with its floral aromatics and mouth-coating melon and tropical fruits. This wine was more voluptuous the second day, with intense fruit flavors running the gamut from citrus to tree to tropical and outstanding aromatics. That bit of Petit Mansang goes a long way. A great example of Virginia Viognier.

Excellent viognier, light and dry with floral nose and light acidity. Not too fruity, not too perfumed, just right. One of my favorites.

Bright and floral. Grapefruit on the nose... long finish with nice acidity. Tasty. Went well with a hearty potato and leek soup.

Pretty good for a wine I've never heard of from VA.

Hard to compare with viognier from Domaine Georges Vernay, but very good.
