Winemaker's Selection Colchagua Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Maxwell Burns
9.7

Barn yard, prunes, dried cherries, sweet tobacco, saddle leather and cloves on the nose. The palate has a medium-full body with well structured tannins that last for ever and refreshing acidity. Needed some time in the decanter.

Had herb marinated grilled tritip and grilled potatoes, red cabbage salad and chimmichurry. Great pairing

If I didn't know any better I would think its a Bordeaux.

Not tannic but not smooth. Not spicy but with a little edge — 11 years ago
