8 years later it’s still a velvet red. Give it at least 30 minutes to breath - more would be better. Dry cherries, currants, a faint hint of tobacco. The longer it sits the more pronounced the cherry and tobacco smell comes out. It remains dry, like a Boudreaux or Cabernet as you drink, but with more fruit smells and tastes. — 2 years ago

Not as velvet as other Mourvèdre, but good. Mouth feel close to a Pinot. Light flavor and texture relative to color. Treat as a Pinot for food pairing. — 5 years ago

Inky Petite Sirah. Nose of blueberry, black tea, a little bit of cocoa powder. Full bodied on the palate and the tannins is surprisingly well balanced. A little bit of menthol on the finish. It has quite a bit of sediment and it took some time to open up so decanting is highly recommended. — 5 years ago
