This wine is fresh and vibrant as soon as you pour it in your glass. A lovely cherry red, the Frescaripa has aromas of bright red fruit with a lovely earthy backbone and just a hint of pepper. This wine is vibrant and fresh, layers of flavors held together by a zest of acidity. This wine is very lightly oaked, medium bodied, and really flavorful and complex for the price! It would perfectly pair with homemade pasta or pizza, poultry, tomato sauces. 15$-20$ CAN — 11 years ago

Shy on the nose, built around a core of juicy acidity with crunchy fresh raspberries and tart strawberries. A touch of tannins in the background and some herby tones towards the finish.
