Almost on the cherry almond amaretto palette. For a novelty wine, this is very surprising. Definitely a sweet taste but pleasant with the appropriate dessert. Like pistachio gelato. Yum — 6 years ago
A bit like old Savennières. Hazelnut and quince. A fino sherry note also. — 7 years ago

Very pale. White fruit, citrus and wet stones on the nose. Adding spice on the palate. Judy says its creamy on the tongue. Very long finish. Alcohol 12.5%. Close to Vatan in overall quality. Great wine.

There's Sancerre then there is stuff like this. We import Vatan, so I can't say it's the best SB in the book, but it's certainly one of the best. Rare that I can drink SB. — 10 years ago
Loved it! Wish there were more!! — 11 years ago
True beauty orange wine. Like the color is REALLY orange! Which I believe is from skin contact and not oxidation. It’s Malvasia so floral and a little sweet. Another Corsican wine like no other. — 6 years ago
The complete vermentino: citrus & tart orchard fruit, underripe white peach, delicately floral, and salty rounded out just right with a little lees aging. — 7 years ago
Similar to Vatan but less powerful / more elegant. Fantastic QPR, very likable wine — 7 years ago
Aromatic, ripe Apple, pear, pineapple, earth, flint, minerality. M+ acid. M body. Lemon zest, saline, minerality. Another one that you can taste the earth. Long finish. Complex and lovely. — 8 years ago

Very easy on palette great with fish — 6 years ago
Massive 15.5% smackdown from Alicante. Strong thick slow legs. Full bodied. The nose is earthy with white pepper, hint of black licorice. Palate is interesting. Quite silky, immediate attack is dusty, supposedly like the terrain (late revision: this note subsiding over time); then big fruit, the end is a tad candyish with very little tannic grip. I had this with a light meal. It would have paired better with steak, or heat spice. Great wine, but Vatan is better in this price range for Spain.

Rolle aka vermentino. Very assertive upfront expression - big nose for a white (corn?), slight sweetness. Lychee, white peach. Stole the show in a vermentino night vs Antoine Arena & Yves Leccia. — 8 years ago
this wine utterly rules the arena — 8 years ago
Nice wine that goes well with Swiss cheese. — 9 years ago

Local wine shop has me on this Corsican kick lately for which I am thankful. This wine is deep and intense with dark complexity and a moody dried fruits and herbs combo. — 6 years ago
