An earthy nose masks the floral arrangement one expects. There are some herbal elements there, but more along savory lines. The palate shows apples, peaches and a shovel of the earth of Rías Baixas. Nice acidity and a pleasantly earthy finish cap a wonderfully different style for the region. — 4 years ago

With 10+ years the acidic bite seemed to have lessened but still show some complexity still. Good pairing with the red. — 7 months ago
Wow! This was amazing. Very floral and lighter, tart fruit. Definitely some ocean and lemons. So well balanced and just amazing with food. — 3 years ago
Haven’t had this in years and missed it like crazy — 4 years ago
Perfectly balanced low acidity - delicious — 5 years ago
Nicely balanced with both tangy brightness and crisp saline finish. Lots of ripe citrus and a little round peachiness on the mid palate. — 7 years ago
This Albariño shows lemon, lime and lanolin on the nose, with a whiff of apricot. The pale color is that of golden straw, and the palate comes forth with a mighty acidity and a mouthful of green apples, on the tart side. Minerality makes a big play, and the finish is medium-long with a citrus zestiness. — 7 years ago
Very nice crisp Albariño — 8 years ago

Excellent balanced white! Some fruit and floral notes up front with a long finish — 8 months ago
Notes of dark red fruit, earth, and spice. Light body and medium acidity with smooth tannins. A relatively simple, but pleasant wine. Excellent value at $16. Purchased at Brooklyn Wine Exchange in Brooklyn, NY. — 4 years ago
Well well well, isn’t that something! Envinate Lousas Vinos de Aldea. Give it some time in the glass to unwind and expose its inner complexity, a vibrant red fruit profile, lavender and capsicum is accompanied by a pronounced savoriness with crushed rocks, soil and white pepper. A fresh spine runs through the palate with solid but fine grained grip from the tannins. Ribeira Sacra. Mostly Mencia with some other stuff thrown in (field blend), whole cluster ferment in cement tank followed by elevage in neutral barrel. A privilege to have these unicorn wines available! — 5 years ago
Note to @Delectable Wine the winery is pronounced “Aranthia” but spelled “Arancia”. A Spanish ringer for Chablis (some people sense Chenin leanings) and a good one at that. Tropical flowers and citrus on the nose, but the palate is energized with lemon, mineral, bright acid, and some stone fruit bitterness. Very light on its feet, but finishes somewhat longer. Crazy good for a BTG selection. — 8 years ago
Never heard of this grape. Very nice heavy body. Apricot? Mandarin? Enjoyed the wine. — 8 years ago
2013, Benito Santos, Igrexario De Saiar, Albarino. I really like Benito Santos wines. Golden yellow: tart apples, citrus, minerality, salinity. Everything that I want with pan seared white fish. — 9 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Medium lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of apples, mango and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending slightly creamy with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. — 7 months ago
