How do you rate an exceptionally fun wine that consists of Pinot Noir/Cab Franc/Négrette/Gamay Noir? Easy! Start at nine points and work up. (A slight chill is highly recommended and it will match perfectly with whatever you're pulling from the grill. God bless the French.) — 7 years ago
Far better than Aldi and it's price label - an enjoyable and easy to drink white. Not exceptional but great value. — 8 years ago
Delightful! Perfect with scallops — 8 years ago
Cherry and spice on the nose. Almost white peppery. A bit bitter at fitst but gets better. Very woody tannind and a lot of oak. I think a long decant might help do this wine justice. — 9 years ago
Classic Val do Salnes — 9 years ago
Really nice and light with smooth finish. Just my style. Tried paired with a vegetable ash finished aged goat cheese and Whole Foods and ended up buying both, they paired do nicely. — 11 years ago

Wow. Just wow. Best cab. Do not decant, best French I have ever had. — 12 years ago
This yellow-gold wine has aromas that are more herbal than floral, with savory dill bolstering the citrus and stone fruit. The palate carries much citrus along with savory balsamic notes. Acidity is great, and makes for a lively pairing with a variety of salads and seafood. — 6 years ago
Yum, dry, gentle — 7 years ago

A blend of Godello, Doña Blanca and Colgadeira (?) from very old vines in Val do Bibei village of Manzaneda. Fermented and raised 6 months in 2nd use French barrels. 735 bottles for her first vintage.
Sexy texture and weight to this wine, it takes more of the oak onto itself than the Palomino. Pear skins, bees wax, wet granite, and a hint of vanilla on the finish. Needs scallops or lobster type of seafood fo' shizzle. — 9 years ago
Classic vintage from Douro. The wines from this vineyard are always exceptional.Love the Quinta do Val Meao.Had the2008,9,and 10.All were fantastic. — 10 years ago
Bright clean fruit. Nice acidity and overall balance. Kermit Lynch can do no wrong. Solid Pinot from the Loire — 11 years ago
Very very good red Pinot from the Alsace region - a special red from St. Hippolyte that makes stopping here a must if you are in the region. If not in the region, get online and book a ticket to fly into Mulhouse and drive around vino bliss - just do it! — 12 years ago
A gorgeous burnt yellow color. Had this with seared scallops and a cold veggie pasta salad. — 6 years ago
Sweet and tangy — 6 years ago
Crisp, clean, citrusy with just a hint of peach! Delicious and affordable! I do love French Sauvignon Blancs! — 7 years ago
Would have not guess it was an Albariño. Great balance and minerality. — 8 years ago
After a long day of lacrosse big daddy needs a drink. And this will do just fine. — 9 years ago

Adegas Gran Vinum Mar de Viñas Albariño Rias Baixas/Val do Salnes 2018
A glass w work lunch of homegrown tomatoe/avocado and tinned sardines.
Medium yellow color. Aromas of drupe fruits (peach/apricot). Mouth is more about peach pit with a hint of bitterness and a savory, salty element. Went better w the tomatoes than the sardines (umami harmony?)
