I loooove Merlot! What I like about this one is its character, quite pure. Dull ruby of medium density. Fresh, funky aromas of venison, V8 juice and raspberries. Medium to full body, with staircase-like performance. Enters elegant and grows in your palate until it explodes with brilliant, lingering finish. Firm grip of tannis, delicious acidity, but beside structure, awesome roundness and flesh. More than harmony, I see an interesting scholar of a wine. Quite food worthy.
