Vermont Chiroubles Gamay 2013

Pretty medium cherry red. The bouquet really projects from this wine with a complex array of forest floor, sappy blackberry and just a hint of gaminess. There is an appealing softness to this wine that comes without sacrificing complexity - delicious and just enough acidity to pair well with a diverse array of foods. Medium body, Elegant, long finish. This is a marvelous, user-friendly wine — 11 years ago

Description slightly incorrect. Not a blend. It's straight Aidani.

Reserve Vermentino 2012

One of Luca's personal favorites and pet projects. Opens up nicely. Notes of olives and sea salt. — 12 years ago

Dusky Goose

Lillie's Vineyard Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2010

75 cases, a beast that unraveled in the glass. Smokey. My favorite of the Lynn Penner Ash side projects. Great Worden Hill aromatics buried under layers of spice and herbal notes — 11 years ago

This wine has moved upward over the past three years dramatically, but is now on the edge of premox. Drink up. — 11 years ago

Meiomi Pinot Noir 2011

Great Pinot, Went on a recommendation from a customer. He bought 23. I bought one. He said he's paid upward of $90 for the bottle and my store was selling it for 18. Either way. Great wine — 13 years ago

Okay this guy was crazy. I just looked it up and it's a 17 dollar bottle. A good bottle, But please ignore the idea of it being a great deal

Domaine Clair-Daü

Clos St. Jacques Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Pinot Noir 1976

Fun wine that probably doesn't have a ton of upward movement left. Fairly delicate but enough structure to drink through the afternoon. My first '76 Burg that I can remember so nothing to compare it to vintage-wise. — 11 years ago

Incubo A Coelo Usque Ad Centrum Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 2007

Very tasty 07 Spring Mountain Cabernet. Aaron Potts own label, you may also know some of his other consulting projects like Quintessa, Blackbird, Bello. This is dense and concentrated, loaded with dark fruits, spices, coffee and chocolate. Rich and Voluptuous all the way through. — 12 years ago
