Freeman Vineyard & Winery is the fruition of a 20-year dream shared by Ken and Akiko Freeman to craft cool climate CA Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Aged for 11 months in French oak (about 25% new). Aromas of berry fruits with tea and tobacco notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with tobacco and tea spice, soft tannins, well balanced, vivid acidity on lingering finish ending with earthy tones. Very fruit forward cab, not too dry. Can be enjoyed with food or on its own. Soft tannins and low acidity, very much enjoy this wine. Very small release, only 854 cases were made!! Grab it while you can!

Probably the best domestic cider I've had. Mineral, almost tannic crunch. Conjures vivid images of tiny little enamel-stripping cider apples. Great acid, nice lift, evanescent finish that leaves you begging for another sip. — 10 years ago

Small batch no. 16, “The Raven”. One of their first I’ve had of theirs that has a [mild] acetic profile. As my dad said, “kinda smells like those chips we used to eat.. salt & vinegar!” Super tasty and the quality of the feral fruit shows. Cool, deep fruit comes through on nose.
