One of the top Japanese sommeliers recommended me to bring to this home party with my best friends. BIO!! Goes well with either red or white meat. — 9 years ago
Petrol, orange rind, big fruit. Sugar acid balance is solid. Slightly tropical. — 10 years ago
Like Guinness, with a mocha aftertaste. — 10 years ago
Medium bodied, tiny touch on the sweeter side but still dry. It is a rosé. — 11 years ago
An Australian wine that reminds me of how great Australian wines can be. Big and rich for sure, but with layers of complexity - blackberry, anise, oak, and tart cherry on the finish. — 11 years ago

Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!
At 24yrs old, it’s incredible how this drinks. Obviously past its prime, but by no means a lost bottle. Had never heard of this vineyard. Butterscotch, salted popcorn kernels, and cornbread note too. Still retaining some nice acidity! — 8 years ago
Yup...that's Neil Patrick Harris on their Label. Sleight of Hand Cellars got involved in a charity that NPH was apart. They got to talking and found he not only had a love of Magic, but wine as well. The relationship evolved well enough, they asked him if he would be on one of their labels and Neil agreed. The "Sleight of Hand Cellars" label has been seen a few times on "How I Met Your Mother." NPH is also is a club member. The Conjurer is blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot and a splash of Petit Verdot from the Columbia Valley. Nice, fresh nose of; ripe dark currants, blackberries, black plum, dark cherries, black raspberries, black licorice, dark chocolate, soft spice, wood shavings and fresh dark florals. The palate is M+ body & soft M+ tannins with a thick, round mouthfeel. Dark spice, eucalyptus, mint, herb notes, cinnamon, vanilla, clove, chocolate, caramel apple, black licorice, crushed rocks, soft leather, nice, round, acidity and a very well polish finish. This is very easy to drink young and will cellar 10 years. — 9 years ago
Great Washington Rhone blend. Another Owen Roe winner!!! Dark cherry and strawberry notes with chocolate and mint flavors in the finish. Well balanced and elegant. A dark wine to compliment a dark story. — 9 years ago
Sitting on the roof watching the sunset. This wine has a nice aftertaste cherryish and a slight hint of chocolate. Its smooth and refreshing, I will drink it again. — 9 years ago
An aromatic-Cab lover's dream. Eucalyptus, tobacco, dark dark fruits, and well integrated oak. The palate matches, and the mouthfeel feels like any Napa Cab of high pedigree. — 10 years ago

A little Rosé magic from Sleight of Hand on Christmas Eve. The Magicians Assistant Rosé is one of better Rosés I had recently. On the nose; pink rose petals, beautiful fragrant soft minerals, powdery chalkiness and lean fruits of; watermelon near the rhine, cherries, strawberries & pink grapefruit w/ a touch of sugar. The mouthfeel is medium, rich and a touch gluey. The palate fruits match the nose. Minerals that grip softly, just the right amount of powdery chalkiness, pink roses, watermelon Jolly rancher, perfect round acidity and an elegant, balanced finish. Merry Christmas everyone ! May it be joyous! 🎁🎄❄️⛄️🥗 — 8 years ago
Absolutely delicious. Prefect pair for grilled pork, similar to a dryer Zinfandel. Reasonably full bodied but not so big as to demand a big steak. — 8 years ago
As always, a stunner. This is a delight to drink. Balanced, fruity, light on oak. — 9 years ago
