Great blend of Red Mountain grapes by Chris Upchurch and he Delille crew. The 2009 AIX is smooth and delicious Because this is a Syrah-Cab-Mouvadre blend, there’s deep raspberry, anise, espresso and slight oak flavors. Great wine with a beef dinner. — 8 years ago

What joy to drink this wine. A superb effort from Chris Upchurch. To all WA winemakers take note, we should aspire as growers and winemakers to get here. It would raise recognition for all. Big fan of this. A blend of 4 Red Mountain vineyards Klispun, Upchurch, Grand Ciel, and Ciel du Cheval. Pretty much 1/4 each. Moderate fruit with a nice nutty inkiness. Already smooth. — 9 years ago
