Have been enjoying the 2012 vintage now for a few months. Honestly, one of my favorite pinots I've had to date. Beautiful soft wine,: dark cherry, baking spice, wonderful finish. My first bottle from Drew. A very intriguing, intellectual wine. Tannic and one dimensional on day one...lots of cranberry. Day two brought violet and a very discernable sanguinity to the nose. The minerality holds through to the palate with the red fruit but there was some unpleasant oxidation. I would suggest a few years in the cellar or a one hour decent. — 11 years ago
