Very nice bordeaux. Adorable flying pig on the label. G and C both love it. — 8 years ago
Winner of the G-C samplers. Silky and austere. Duck breast. This is the case for cellaring — 9 years ago
Almost a fruit bomb but with smoke and only 13% alc. it pairs well with food. Opens and softens quickly. Black fruit and plum notes. 35% C, 30% G, 20 S, 15 M. — 10 years ago
Offert par M&C a D pour Noel 2012. Bu le 24 Decembre 2014 avec C & G pour accompagner le foie gras puis le dessert. — 10 years ago
That is a great Pinot. Exceptional fruit bit so balanced with soft tannins and just a bit of acid to keep it all together. Color was a rich red. Very G C — 11 years ago
Al G. brings this wine to Dario in Vero Beach as a thank you for me helping with the Ferrari... This is some bottle of wine... So, so good. Vinny C and "Not Stupid Guy" agree!!! — 11 years ago

At 13$, this was delightful, expressive varietally correct take on PN…think Oregon meets Lower Rhône — 3 years ago
Better than the 16, not as sweet.

$20.00 out the door doesn’t hurt either

Vintage 2008 / Confession: I am really bad in recognising #tempranillo. So I ‘punish’ myself regularly to taste and drink it 🤨 Today it makes me really happy. A nice roof tiles colour, a smell with spices, warm cooked summerfruit, but above all: E L E G A N C E. Beautiful mouthfeel, satin, smooth. A wine you can easily underestimate, with finesse. Probably I would not recognise it as #rioja tasted blind, it is such a fine wine. Great effort of this Spanish winegrower. / technical: 85% tempranillo 10% graciano and 5% maturana. 30 months aging in French oak barrels. — 7 years ago
KS, M, C, G. Deep aroma of red berries, strawberry, red pepper, pepper rose, paint, gouache, sour cranberries, cranberries, raspberries, red apple, black berries. Everything is very bright, dense and saturated. Excellent balance - light sweetness, excellent acidity, very good body. Long pleasant fruit aftertaste. A wonderful juicy and stretching wine! — 8 years ago
So...I am officially out of daily drinkers and this one came into play. This falls within our category between think twice 🤔 & don't touch 🙅🏼. @Larissa Mitchell gave me the go ahead b/c she didn't care for the timeshare like presentation (& pressure) we got to purchase at the end of the tour. Quintessa makes a fine wine - no salesmanship needed.
My Sunday night challenge to you @David A Lentine @Martin G Rivard @TheSkip @Mike Rowe @Daryl Calhoun @Roy Goble @Carl Fischer @Jim Trobaugh @Mike Smith @Ron R @Charles Hetzel @David Goldfinger @David Trumper @Bill Bender @Paul T @Eric LaMasters @Eric Shanks @"Odedi" is to recommend Napa reds (Cabs, Merlot, Cuvée) from $30-60 so I can refill this week. Feel free to comment/tag me in a past wine for reference. #napavalleyforever #mitchellwinestorage
Lastly, Chicago Cubs let's get some runs!! Opening a good bottle of wine for luck!! #iaintafraidofnogoat
TN - The nose is strong with cassis and Rutherford dust. Makes me feel like I am laying on the side of the Silverado Trail. Decanted 1.5 hours and it needed it. Very silky on the tongue and dark ruby color. — 9 years ago

Nose of mushroom, forrest floor, bramble berries, iron. Really nice to see those tertiary notes coming through.
Palate is soft and velvety with red fruit, a touch of sour cherries, some spicy oak notes, and a dusting of fine tannins. Light to medium body.
A very fine, elegant, easy drinking, but still complex G-C. I'm glad we opened this now since I can't see it getting much better. — 5 years ago
Not as fruit juice-y as some Santa Lucia Highlands. G and C both like. Mild and drinkable. — 8 years ago
G C White Burgundy, you'd mistake this for Corton in a minute! — 8 years ago
Fruity, ripe cherry and raspberry undertones. Drinking perfectly. Not bad for a wine from a master vigneron wedged between the more celebrated G-C and C-M! — 10 years ago
Vin offert par G et K a D le 14 decembre 2014. Bu le 24 decembre 2014 avec des confits de canard. Bu avec C et G — 10 years ago
Vidonia Listan Blanco. White wine from Canary Islands! Blind taste during dinner at Press w J&A C, B&Ver G, and K. We all thought it was an aged Chardonnay. Lovely. Round and deep and great to drink. Super interesting and would love to find again! — 11 years ago
