Structured style, generous in it's dense fruit expression. The Busardières vineyard (soil of calcareous clay on top of tuffeau) is located high up in the hills of the Bourgueil appelation, protected from cold northern wind by a huge forest on top of the hill. Grapes get ripe here a bit easier. Charming expression of Cabernet Franc. — 10 years ago

A favorite cab of mine. From Quincé a village in Brissac that has more gravel than Tuffeau. No stink on the nose only pepper and red berries. Very warm for Loire valley. Definitely a Bordeaux hiding in the Loire. — 10 years ago
