Good wine for everyday, great for the price. — 7 years ago
Reminiscent of glacier lettuce. Drying. This + oysters = the truth. Sometimes it's good to do different. — 7 years ago
A lighter, leaner style of Viognier than I might have expected from Galil Mountain Winery. Truth, be told, this is my first Israeli Viognier, so I had no idea what to expect. Exceedingly pretty aromatics of pear skin, toasted almond, and a top note akin to my mother's favorite perfume, something like honeysuckle. On the palate, it's not as full-bodied as Viognier can be, especially not domestic examples. Rather, it presents a fresh face of lime zest and green apples interlace bright acidity that persist all the way through to a mouthwatering finish. I was surprised to note its 14.5% ABV is well concealed and better yet, it's very reasonably priced. Sample — 8 years ago

Easter 2013 - give me the truth! — 11 years ago
Smells amazing. Tastes better. It's the X-Men of BC Cabs. It's something you didn't think would jump so effortlessly from bottle to tummy. It's inhuman. It's a mutant. It's fighting for truth and drunkenness for those who can't fight for themselves. Wow. Thanks Charlotte. — 7 years ago
Someone said about this wine 'if you like California Cabernet, you'll love this'...#truth. Dark fruit, body; if this was slipped into a blind Cali mountain fruit tasting you would swear this was the sexy one. — 8 years ago

Very tasty. Smooth, with a pleasing bite. — 9 years ago
2010 is an incredible value. truth is the acid isn't totally integrated yet, but it's still gorgeous: heady aromatics of kirsch, red flowers and baking spice also show on palate, accented by chalky minerality. fine, feathery tannin and shimmering (if overbearing) acidity complete the picture. in 2+ years this will be a masterpiece. — 9 years ago
Smooth and flavorful without being too bitter, but not as viscous as I'd prefer. — 9 years ago
People describe this wine as soft and elegant. Nothing's further from the truth. This wine is a powerful expression of "new burgundy" -- powerful ripe red fruit, full bodied, and ready to roar. — 10 years ago
A favorite every year. "Mirror of Truth" Region: Takehara, Hiroshima — 10 years ago
Silky start to finish, amazing offering — 7 years ago
This is the straight up Truth. God bless you @Hardy Wallace — 8 years ago
After years trying to taste it in a proper manner, I finally found the opportunity over a decent red pepper steak with red grape sauce. I was surprised not to see Alicante Bouschet into this baco original from the heights of the Serra de Sao Mamede in Portalegra, but the truth is that the typical granite soils from the region are powering this Touriga Nacional to its best!! Amazing quality price wine! — 8 years ago
Classic Old World style. A gorgeous ruby red in the glass. The Cap De Fer has a beautiful nose of tobacco and ripe red fruits. The palate follows the nose with really expressive tastes of the same. Plums and licorice really help to round out this very powerful wine. The acidity is balanced quite nicely and the tannins are soft and approachable. There's also just the right amount of spice which compliments the long, dry finish perfectly. Needs to be decanted for around an hour to really get to the real truth about this bottle, but when you do, you'll love it. — 9 years ago

If making a 'Condrieu' good looking Viognier was a paradigm in California 15 years ago, Ranchero has made the dream became truth..Ripe apricot and peach notes along with wild flowers notes. The use of oak and not evident at first sip. This is a great white to explore, sit down and have a holiday meal.. — 7 years ago
