Have not heard of this producer - was a recommendation from an employee at Amity Wine and Spirits in Mt Carmel, CT - and gets a thumbs up from Vanessa and I. Great aromatics of white flowers with just a hint of petrol (gotta love alsacian rieslings with a little age), this wine has nice balance and a clean finish despite have ~1-2g/L of residual sugar. Not in the same league as the 2001 Trimbach I had in Amsterdam, but still a very enjoyable wine. — 10 years ago
Give it a minute after pouring to breathe and it'll explode into pear magic. Gorgeous digestif--Trimbach does not disappoint. — 10 years ago
