Oh how I love thee. 2012. Supple and refined. Fresh. Classic nose. 13% Well done Trimbach. — 9 years ago
I am not a Raley's shopper but stopped by for a few things while at Home Depot and was pleasantly surprised by their import selection. Found this gem along with a Trimbach Pinot Blanc and Thierry and Pascale Matrot Burg Blanc, all for under $20 per bottle! I will be back. This Perrin family wine (partners with Kermit Lynch) is a super good, affordable Cotes du Rhone for everyday drinking. — 11 years ago

Such a treat to enjoy this Pinot Gris at this age w/ my Spicy Asian Lettuce Wraps.
Nose shows; warmth, it’s inviting, heather honeyed, macerated yellow peach, apricots, overripe pineapple, lychees, marmalade jam, lime & lemon pulp, dry, sandy soils, some very, soft white spice, limestone powder, understated mix of dry & fresh herbs & withering; yellow & white lilies & spring flowers.
The body is rich, thick, waxy and lush. full honey notes, macerated yellow peach, apricots, overripe pineapple, lychees, marmalade jam, lime & lemon pulp, pink grapefruit, some blood orange, overripe melons, dry, sandy soils, chalk powder, sun tea, some very, delicate, white spice, slivered almonds w/ skin, limestone powder, hint of mint, saline hue, dry twig, understated mix of dry & fresh herbs & withering; yellow & white lilies & spring flowers. The acidity is round, excellent & beautiful. The finish is well balanced, smooth wrapped in smooth. elegance defined with bold fruits falling onto some of the softest, dry, elegant, beautiful minerality I’ve had. Her age & beauty are on full display. Nothing tired about this 96. — 5 years ago

Crazy focus, amazing weight...better on day 2...got smoked by the trimbach but it wasn't a fair fight — 11 years ago
Blinded this as Trimbach Fred Emile. I learned something. Thx! @thomaspastuszak — 13 years ago
Strong petrol and steel and heady floral aromas backed by lime spritz, minerals, apricots, and white peaches. Nice acidity. Weighty. Delightful. Much preferred over the Block 1961.
Would compare well with a Trimbach Cuvee Frederic Emile, though with that signature Australian lime and punch. — 5 years ago
Tawny with reddish amber rims. Dark yet translucent. Great old Chave nose. Black cherry, wet forest floor, smoked meats, menthol, slate stone and rhubarb notes. Vibrant in the mouth right out of the gate. Lots of structure and pucker. Fruit present but starting to fade. This was at peak first two hours and then started slowing down, opposite of the Trimbach CSH next to it. Still this was really good ~37 yr old grape juice. — 6 years ago
I adore this wine. Dry burst of flavor. — 8 years ago
So immensly tasty!
Packed with bright orange fruit, notes of marmalade, honey, and a big bunch of different flowers. Acidity to finely balance the sweetness. — 8 years ago
GL Trimbach Riesling tasting 10/25/17. Touch of oily and petrol on nose and body that's medium and palate is rich with some oxidative notes. bought in'08. Long finish. — 9 years ago
Intense creme brûlée, but a bit off unfortunately. — 9 years ago
Marmalade colored from 375ml. An acquired taste, this has clarity a good level of sweetness and balance. Not sure if I love the flavor overall though... Sort of tokaji-ish. But a quality wine for sure — 10 years ago
Off the charts... beautiful color — 11 years ago
