Evangelho Vineyard Heritage Zinfandel Blend 2012

Loving this California producer right now. You may see their Zinfandel in the ATL market. Winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson is the son of Ravenswood founder Joel Peterson. They're working with multiple old vineyards in CA making gorgeous Heritage single vineyard wines (vineyards a blend of varietals). — 12 years ago

Peyrassol

Commanderie de Peyrassol Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2013

After long day on the Harley, this crisp rose from Provence proves clean showing an essential mineral-based quench washing away the trail dust and enriching the scallops, etc. in the brilliant French garden @ The Market Place on 20 Wall Street as sweet jazzy guitar works with the wine melting the neck and shoulder stress associated with 7 hours in the saddle screaming across NC, from my azure Carolina coast to our monster waves of blue mountains - Asheville! Sublime almost all the time! Cheers — 12 years ago

Weill A Way Vineyard Mixed Blacks Red Blend 2012

Super dark and deep mixed blacks. Tons of concentrated dark and purple fruits; rhubarb, plum, huckleberry compote. The freshest of fresh on the palate, farmer's market, "free sample, I know you're going to love this" fresh. Long but not over staying its welcome, full flavored but not fleshy. Bravo. — 13 years ago

Icy Bay IPA

This a very good IPA, I like this a lot, it so well balanced, and even though it does try to push too much on the hops and citrus notes, mostly grapefruit, which gives that classic west coast IPA profile, it is there to let you know what it is and the style it is, this beer gets lost in the very large market of west IPA's but it such a treat to drink, super cheap and well worth it, get if you can, not a big hop head beer, which I like, but to have this proves you do not need to hop some beers up to be good, like this one is, really good — 12 years ago
