This was black as my soul. Seriously. So much suspended particulates. Still very good — 8 years ago
Dark blueberry flavors and aromas with chocolate, leather and graphite notes. Hints of vanilla and oak. Wonderfully balanced and smooth. Proof that a fine wine gets better with time. — 8 years ago

A tad oxidative on the nose. Plums, dark berries, pipe tobacco, smoke, exotic spice, vanilla. Frame filled out nicely by grainy tannins. — 8 years ago
Plum finishing to tart raspberry without being acidic. Good tannins, neither juicy nor peppery
Delicious but limited depth

Wow! This is really good! Made with 100% Prieto Picudo, an indigenous Spanish grape. Intense dark red color with beautiful aromas of ripe red fruit, licorice, and a touch of oak. Well-balanced on the palette with soft tannins and fleshy mouth-feel. Awesome wine -highly recommended. 2016 vintage on Dec 15, 2018 — 7 years ago
