Beautiful nose of tropical fruits, strawberry, mango, coconut and citrus.

Smooth and semi sweet on the palate with oranges, strawberries, lemons, peaches and minerals.

Long finish with sweet mangoes.

Nice and relaxing when chilled.

A one-time collaboration between Toppling Goliath & Mikkeller, this "Nelson Schmelsson" is an assertive IPA. This is my kind of IPA, with bittering and aromatic hops in balance for a balanced malt vs hops palate. ABV isn't listed on the label, but I'm sure it's up around 7-9%. — 9 years ago

Although this (once) exceptional Chardonnay is still fresh and lively, it is slowly losing its fruit and focus. Getting kinda heavy on oak, vanilla, butter and caramel. Acidic structure is still holding up and prevents it from toppling over. Wonderful. — 10 years ago
