World Wide Imperial Stout 2015

2015 vintage. It was interesting tasting this along side the 2011. This is much more savory, rich and complex than the 2011 is at this stage. A killer stout. — 7 years ago

120 Minute Imperial IPA

The hop-head holy grail itself. A must take pilgrimage for any IPA drinker. IBUs off the charts, basically high octane hop syrup. Definitely ages incredibly well. — 9 years ago

Dogfish Head Brewery

90 Minute Imperial IPA

Awesome! I think that toasted porter is the only beer from Einstök Ölgerð I think is good. Maybe I'll try the other ones again to see.

Super nice Merlot, big nose, nice balance and body followers by a wonderful finish. Tasted against the Manage a Trois and Mutt Lynch Merlots (all of which showed well). This was Lori's top pick and a close second for me. We got it at $10 a bottle and it is bargain at this price. — 8 years ago

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin

La Grande Dame Brut Champagne Blend 2004

Beautiful! Yeasty, toast, peach, apple pie, a bit of nuttiness, almonds and minerality on the nose. Bracing acidity, white peach, toasted Apple, lemon/lime, almond paste and well integrated yeasty notes on the palate. Holding up beautifully. — 9 years ago

Barrel Aged North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

The 2006 is good, the 2007, if you can find is a great value, awesome for a $10-13 wine. Balanced fruit with the oak taste of the 'toasted' barrel head & smooth from uncorking, improving as it breathes. — 10 years ago

Edition 166. Always nice. Precise with more lemony acid quality than I recall from past editions / bottles. But still plenty of toasted hazelnut / brioche. Delicious. — 6 years ago
