Pale light yellow gold. Lively constant tiny bubbles. Deep round nose with high pitched fruit. Notes of pear, grapefruit, chalk and limestone. With more air you find some citrus and honeysuckle. Chewy in the mouth with great mouthfeel. Coats the entire mouth. Long finish lingers a minute or more. Velvet. Killer juice. Was inspired to open one of these after seeing a friend’s TN this weekend. Glad I did. — 7 years ago
Big, rich and bold. Lightly sweet up front and tart + spice on the back. A bit on the tart side of the spectrum for me. Tart fruits really pop! — 8 years ago
Refreshing! Serve chilled. Nice little scavenger hunt on the back label to spice up your Sunday afternoon! — 8 years ago
Gorgeous light pink color, elegant nose of dark ripe plum, beaucoup tiny pin-prick bubbles that persist like the head of a beer. The flavors are electric dark plum, blood orange, and ruby red grapefruit with a long, lean finish that eventually tapers off with a tartness that refreshes the palate for more. Ultra bruts and low dosage bubbles rock! — 9 years ago
Lots of tiny bubbles, good amount of acid and very drinkable #champagne — 10 years ago
Full malt character- much more body than you might expect from an IPA. Lactic palate, not too resinous — 10 years ago

Jack and Jamie Davies revived the historic vineyards and cellars in 1965. Today, their son Hugh, continues their mission. Coming off their highly successful 12’ & ‘13 vintages, the 2014 is also 100% Chardonnay straw with aromas of floral stone fruits and citrus notes. A terrific crisp sparkler with crisp apple, peach and lemon flavors, fine mousse with tiny bubbles. Tangy acidity on a lingering finish ending with a yeasty creamy character. Nice! — 6 years ago
Intro for New Years Champagne indulgence... I love this wine... crisp, clean, vibrant...at $60 retail this wine over delivers on all fronts. Dry, elegant green apple and ripe pear with impeccable balance between fruit and acid structure. Tiny, persistent bubbles in the mousse...I bought half of the dozen available and should have scooped them all. — 7 years ago
Toasted bread & slightly over-ripe apple nose, pale gold color, medium body, intense tiny bubbles, hints of grapefruit and ripe apple, long-lasting finish — 8 years ago
Pretty good strawberry and some lighter, less severe watermelon notes here. The wine has a nose with a lot of sweeter strawberry and nutty notes. Enters with tiny bubbles all around, coating the glass and your mouth. The finish is VERY mildly tart and quite dry. Overall I think this wine is doing great, especially given its roots. Very well balanced sparkler. Takes me back to touring and tasting in the cave. — 8 years ago

2003 Vintage. Pale straw yellow color with abundant tiny bubbles with bread crust, baked apple, and hazelnut aromas. On the palate, it shows a delicate creamy mousse with mineral accented baked apple and pear, toasted hazelnut, apricot and a hint of vanilla flavors. Long finish. — 11 years ago

What a great Temp! It really reminded me a strong West Texas Tempranillo. It paired well with Antelope blackstrap. — 7 years ago
Loving the smooth chocolate taste. Was recommended by a gal at work and it did not disappoint. — 7 years ago
The effervescence is perfectly tiny, and bright! Delish on a sunny afternoon. — 8 years ago

Less Riesling in this vintage... so less distinctive and different and interesting than the corresponding 2013.
Still a very, very well made Napa Chardonnay, low acidity, lots of vanilla. — 9 years ago

It was over 100 degrees here in Dallas before noon. Drink some champagne. Lovely. Red fruit, nicely fizzy with tiny bubbles. Light and wonderfully refreshing on a summer afternoon. Great at the $38 price. — 11 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
This wine hit 18 on top 100 list in 2017. Best known for Sparkling Wines, served at White House since 1985. Pale salmon color, a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay & aged 3 years prior to release, showing aromas of red fruit with citrus and biscuit notes. On the palate apple, strawberry and cherry flavors with orange zest, earthy yeasty spice and tiny bubbles. The wine is well balanced, good acidity, some yeast and minerality on the long finish. — 6 years ago
