Once I extracted the broken cork (Santa forgot to put my Durand corkscrew under the tree) the inky dark ruby '96 Catena Alta Cabernet Sauvignon 'Tikal Vineyard' was absolutely amazing. Still youthful with loads of blackberry, licorice, leather and tobacco aromas and flavors. Lengthy finish with noticeable but silky smooth tannins. Viva Argentina! — 9 years ago
